About Imagine a VHS-quality montage of you and your friends doing random fun things together in the summer: holding hands and skipping in a meadow, hitting a new doubles high score at the bowling alley, feeding spaghetti noodles to pigeons, perhaps. Odds are high that this sequence is soundtracked by Atlanta indie pop band Dinner Time , who, over the course of eight years and three albums, have honed the lo-fi technicolor vibe-pop that has long been popularized by the likes of King Gizz and Mac DeMarco but, until now, has never been perfected.
