Description

The Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department invites you to a special community event to support our volunteers and their vital work in our district. We are excited to introduce our new Community Appreciation Event, replacing the traditional Firemen’s Dance to provide a more relaxed, daytime gathering, based on community feedback. We plan to bring our vehicles and equipment to show the public the tools and resources we use to protect the district. This family-friendly afternoon is your chance to meet the volunteers, enjoy the setting, and learn more about your fire department. Event Highlights: Live music from Daniel Christian Door prizes Education and information about the Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department Fun activities for kids and yard games An opportunity to meet and visit with responding volunteers Food will be available as a free-will donation. A variety of drink options will be available for purchase through Rich Harvest Winery & Vineyard. Your Support is Critical Our department has responded to more than 1,300 emergency calls over the past 27 years, with response activity increasing by 37%. Your continued support is essential for: Providing necessary training Maintaining life-saving equipment Investing in the health and wellness programs that keep our members ready to respond Events like this allow us to show you firsthand how your community support directly impacts our ability to serve our neighbors.
