Camp Sonshine will celebrate its 20th anniversary with Pancakes & Praise, a community-wide evening of worship, fellowship, and storytelling on Saturday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. at Camp Sonshine – Solaris.
Founded in 2006, Camp Sonshine has grown from a local summer camp ministry into a year-round organization serving thousands of children, teens, families, and leaders through camps, leadership development programs, retreats, and international ministry partnerships."
Over the past 20 years, we have seen God use camp experiences to help young people BELONG & BECOME," said Adrianna Tarin, Communications Director for Camp Sonshine. "Pancakes & Praise is an opportunity to celebrate God's faithfulness, reconnect with friends from every season of camp, and look ahead to the next chapter of ministry."
Throughout the evening, attendees will hear stories from former campers, staff members, and families whose lives have been impacted through Camp Sonshine. The event will also highlight the organization's mission which is “to UNLOCK & UNLEASH Kingdom builders through leveraging camp experiences to create places to BELONG & BECOME.”
The celebration is open to the public, and admission is free thanks to the support of event sponsors. Community members who have been connected to Camp Sonshine at any point during the past 20 years are encouraged to attend.
